Section 6. ARFX App Settings
The Settings section in the ARFX App allows users to manage various aspects of their virtual production setup, payment methods, account management, and more. Here's a breakdown of the different sections available:
Section 6.1 Virtual Production Setup
The Virtual Production Setup section allows you to configure the technical parameters of your production environment, ensuring that your scenes fit the specifications of your setup.
Key settings you can configure include:
Screen Dimensions (in cm): Enter the Width and Height of your display to ensure the virtual scenes are displayed correctly.
SteamVR Tracking: If using Vive Pro trackers, enter the Hero Serial and Calibration Serial numbers here. If you selected SteamVR as your tracking method, refer to this section for more details on the process of connecting your Base Stations and Vive Tracker(s) equipment for accurate tracking during your virtual production setup
FreeD Tracking: If using FreeD-supported trackers, input the IP Address and UDP Port Number for tracking your FreeD-compatible devices here, refer to ARFX Free D setup section for more details.
Once configured, click Save to save your settings.
Section 6.2 Adding a Payment Method
In the Payment Methods section, you can store a payment option for easy future purchases. This saves time by eliminating the need to enter your payment details each time you purchase a scene.
To add a payment method:
Click the + Add button in the Payment Methods section.
Follow the prompts to enter your credit card details and address.
Once saved, this method will be available for quick checkouts, allowing you to purchase scenes seamlessly.
Click the Add button to save the details.
Repeat the steps above to add another payment method.
If you have multiple payment methods, you can also choose to mark one payment method as default so that it is selected by default every time you check out
Section 6.3 Management Section
The Management section helps you manage your subscriptions and working directory:
Subscriptions: Here, you can view and manage your active subscriptions
Click on the subscriptions section to open the subscription page.
Working Directory: This shows the path where your downloaded scenes are stored on your computer (e.g.,
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\ARwall\scenes
). You can change this directory by clicking the Set button and selecting a new folder to store your scenes.
Section 6.4 Account Options
In the Account Options section, you can manage the details related to your account:
User: Displays the email address associated with your ARFX account.
Logout: Click this option if you want to sign out of the app.
This section allows you to control your account status and sign out when needed.
